The U.S. Army's M41 tank, nicknamed the Walker Bulldog was developed for action during the Korean War but also served throughout the war in Vietnam. During the 1970 South Vietnam incursion into neighboring Laos, known as operation Lam Son 719, to disrupt VC supply lines, the M41 was instrumental in helping to destroy Soviet built tanks.
